How does Password Manager keep your password secure ?

Dear friends, I have already discussed the benefits and requirements of using strong passwords in my various posts (protecting your password from being stolen , how safe is your online account , how to be safe online? ). So everyone must use strong passwords, and the easiest way to do this is to use the Password Manager. To be honest, it is very difficult to remember just as hard as a password is hacked on one hand. And password managers work to end this complication. So friends, in today's post we will know about different types of password managers, and will know which one might be the best choice for you.

Password Manager

There are many types of managers to ensure your online safety and to remember the password. Some of them help keep your browser password list stored. Some of them work as a system for password sharing between multi-divis and platforms. But every manager has some common tasks, such as they store all passwords, they automatically fill in any login form, and they are encrypted in the database. Different types of managers usually encrypted passwords using different systems and different algorithms.

Encrypted password

Your browser can also save passwords, but they are not always safe but very secure. The most advantage of using different password managers - they hide behind all of your passwords with a key password and put them in a database. Yes, saving your passwords in text is not a safe place in just one place. So these managers keep your password encrypted - which is really able to ensure protection.

Encryption is a method of randomizing your data using a mathematical problem . By using a "key", the plane text passwords are repeatedly rearranged. Depending on how bad this sequence is or how safe it will be, it's key size. According to Lyman's terms, as long as "what size" will it be, there will be security in encryption. It can be possible to make the encryption results even more complicated as it can be hardened.

Depending on the different algorithms, different size keys are used when encryption. In some cases, these "keys" provide extremely rough output and this method is called HASH. If you want to know more about the encryption , please read my previous article. There will be a lot of simple idea about encryption.

Local Password Chest

The best way to keep your password safe is to say no. If you do not want to save your password randomly or if you do not want to submit passwords directly to the hard drive, then the local password manager might be a good choice for you. I have a local password safe called " KeePass ". It is a password-saving software very popular for Windows users. It provides many options for saving all your passwords. It keeps your email password, website password, online account password, etc. together in one database - and gives you the ability to control all passwords with a master password.

All your passwords are encrypted using standard algorithms. If you want to use a master password, you can access your saved passwords just by using the key file. You can keep your file stored on a separate drive or in a portable USB drive and use the key file instead of using the master password when accessing the password.

As the keypad is safe and secure on one hand, it also has some side effects. The difficulty is that if you accidentally lose a file or master password, then your friend is really bad on your forehead. You will lose all your passwords and you will have to enter each password again. If you want to access your passwords on the phone or tablet, you have to manually do it and you need to use cloud services such as Dropbox. So here you have to rely on Dropbox. Local managers are really able to save your passwords very much safely. But these managers are not better to use any device together so you can lose portability to use these managers.

Password sync system for multipol system

If you use a partition to computing, but the local password-saving software may be good for you. But if you use multiple devices at one go, you will need to " 1password " this software. Think you are using Facebook on PC, doing Amazon shopping on phones and managing bank accounts, but you will need a password manager who will work in all disciplines and give you the ability to use all your passwords.

1password uses hybrid technology to help you synchronize passwords using your network in multipole devices or using Dropbox. But it does not allow you to use many encryption algorithms like the keypace- and you will not get the ability to login using "key file".

But it solves many down directions of local managers. As you can easily sync all of your passwords in multiple devices. To sync your passwords in a multipol device, you need to trust Dropbox. If you're really a lot more safety conscious, you can sync your passwords using your local network.
And here's a good reason for not missing any type of data lost in master password.

Keep your passwords on the server

You need to have confidence in that company to keep all your passwords in a cloud. Although many users do not mind about this. However, many users still use " LastPass " even after a large number of hacker attacks (i.e. myself too).

LastPass preserves an encrypted copy of your password in the cloud - and these passwords can be used in almost all types of browsers and devices that you have seen. You will need to take premium membership to use some of their special features, but this password manager is basically free.
Your device does all encryption and decryption-and the master password is not stored on the server. If you do not want to access the web, you can also use the passwords from the cached data on your device. In addition to ensuring maximum safety, there are two-factor verification system.

Even though LastPass was caught by hackers, but with the use of Master Password and Two Factor Verification, your account and password stored can be safe. Another advantage is that if you forget your master password, it can be recovered anytime soon.

Do You Really Need to Use Password Manager?

If your brain is not a computer's hard drive, then there is a need to use the password manager. We have to manage hundreds of accounts every day - and there is a special need to use different account passwords for each account for security. So it is not possible for a common man to remember such passwords. In this case password managers provide you with many benefits as well as security.
For example, all passwords are stored in a single database, it is not necessary to remember all the passwords! If you know the master password and your password is securely stored. Moreover, you do not need to enter your password in an online form, they work automatically.

So what could be your favorite password manager? Start using any one to find the correct answer - and notice which one is more of your work. Many of these software are premium, but almost all of them have a trial version. So you can use it before buying and using it.
