Change default font on Android mobile (root and unroot user)

While some good brands can change the font on the Android mobile, most of the less expensive Android phones have no option to change the default font. So it seems to be irritating to see a different font. Also, if you download MS Word files on some mobile phones, then Bangla fonts can not be seen. I will show in today's post how to change the default font of Android and also have to install different custom font (Bangla font).


I will show today's post in two steps. With the help of 1st you can increase the beauty of mobile by changing the default font of your Android mobile and solve problems of viewing Bengali fonts through 2nd.

How to change the font:

Those who use Galaxy S3, S4 and Note can change the default font without having to root. And those who are using other company's phones must take root. If your phone is not rooted then you can easily root it from this post .

  • First Download iFont app from here.

  • You can see the image shown on the bottom of your app by turning Intel on your mobile.


  • Click on the fonts you want to apply to the font above the image as shown in the image below.


  • Now click on the download button to download the font. This will require data connection.


  • After downloading, click on the Set button and then restart the mobile. See below


  • Right click here, you will restart your mobile phone. Then the default font on your mobile will be changed. That's enough.


  • Custom Fonts:

    If you want to install your favorite personal font then follow the tricks below.
  • First, download the .tft file ie font. If you wish, you can Download the latest Lollipop 5.0 version of Android from here.

  • Then copy the downloaded fonts and paste it into the custom folder of the iFont folder of the SD card of your mobile.

  • Now turn on the iFont app and click on My Tab. See below -


  • Clicking on the My Font option of the image above will show all the fonts placed on your SD card, like the image below.


  • Then select the desired font and click on the Set button as before, restart your mobile.
