How does port scanning work and how do open ports find out?

A Network Networking port is a very important issue, describing a detailed article on
network port . Different different networks are connected to physical parts of the computer, as well as separate network services are activated on the network port. When you transfer the file, it takes a port, if you send it to another port, and another port for loading the webpage.
Thus there is a separate port facility for each individual service. But there are some software tools that can scan each of these network ports and say which port are open or which are closed? How is this port scanning process completed now? From this article we will know the details ...

Port scanning

If it is easy to say, port scanning means that a thief walks along the path of your foot and the door of everyone's door is checking the windows, which are open and which are closed. TCP / IP ports are called virtual or network ports. Using a network port, various software is provided access to various computer hardware or services. TCP / IP has port available from 0 to 65535.

Starting from the beginning of the 1024 port has been allocated for known services. These standard ports include HTTP, FTP, SMTP, or DNS.
There is no special service allocated to the rest of the ports. Rest of the ports can be used by any application for their work.
Port scanning software works very well. Usually the front or targeted computer provides the request and tries to connect the serial by serial to all the ports. Software can differentiate between responses from open ports and reponces from close ports, and in the same way, which port is in any condition. Software to detect various ports, various types of packets send to the computer network and get all the information from the Response.

Port scanning has many important issues. This scanning allows you to easily find your network errors. You can see which ports are open and any software or application is listening to those ports. There are many ports, which are easy to get infected by malware if the computer is open on a network. Hackers scan your computer network port, trying to find errors.
Suppose your computer's remote access port is open, so they can easily access your computer remotely. A hack attack is run only after checking for which port is open for attack.
Using the enmap software tool, you can easily set IP address ranges and scan these open ports of IPs. You can perform many types of port scans using the software. If you find that your network has an unnecessary port open, then try Google to know which port or service it is. If you see that it is creating errors in your network, then immediately turn off the port as soon as possible.

Some free port scanning software

Enemap (NMap) or Network Map Utility is a free and open source network explorer software. Which really has many powerful features.
The software is designed specifically for large network scanning. However, it is also a best tool for single-handed scanning. The tool is able to detect any open port and close ports, with which the applications occupy any ports, or any application is port, you can scan everything. Not just known ports, you can also scan unknown ports or hidden ports.

Angry IP Scanner - A fast scanning tool for Windows, the program is much smaller in size and any IP range scan is possible. Angry IP scanner first pings the signal to see if the port is alive, then the hostname slob and then start port scanning. The reason I like this tool is that it has a net bias scanning feature. This means that it is the name of the computer, the work group name, which is currently logged in to a user computer and can find the device's mac address. After scanning, list Result can save in Excel format, text format, HTML format, XML format etc.

LAN Spy - Another favorite tool I can do, by which you can collect a lot of information about the computer connected to the network by turning on the security scanner. The computer's domain name, netbauce name, mac address, server information, user, user group, session, open files, computer service, open service, and logged-in programs.

So this was a basic article, from which you got the idea about port scanning.
I will describe in the next article how you can scan network errors and fix them. With the next article, we will discuss network packet capture and expo details. Talk about all the issues with network security, so be sure to be with you.
